Two of my favorite bands are opening for Land of Leland May 7th

I've had a talent crush on Star Rover since Jeremy Udden introduced them to me. It's very rare for a band to be this rooted in tradition (Leadbelly, John Fahey, Mississippi John Hurt, etc.) while sounding like nothing you've ever heard. 

I knew Kristin first through Aoife O'Donovan who was in Sometymes Why with her. She was a strong songwriter then, but she just keeps getting better. I've listened to this song so many times. And check out my buds, Alec Spiegelman and Jefferson Hamer backing her up so elegantly. The album version is great, too.
